About the Role

Saltera HR is proud to partner with a leading construction and manufacturing organization in the semiconductor and high-purity industry to hire an experienced Safety Manager

This role is central to maintaining safe, compliant, and efficient operations across active projects. The Safety Manager will develop, implement, and oversee environmental, health, and safety programs—guiding teams, ensuring compliance, and fostering a culture where people come first and safety is part of every decision.

We’re looking for someone who leads by example, communicates with clarity, and finds purpose in protecting people and elevating standards every day.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead site safety programs in alignment with federal, state, local, and client requirements

  • Conduct site inspections, audits, and hazard assessments to identify and address risks

  • Develop and maintain project-specific Safety Plans, Job Hazard Analyses (JHAs), and Safe Work Permits

  • Oversee safe work practices within clean and controlled environments

  • Facilitate orientations, safety meetings, and ongoing training for employees and subcontractors

  • Investigate incidents and near-misses, complete root-cause analyses, and document findings

  • Track safety metrics, trends, and corrective actions for leadership and client reporting

  • Collaborate with client EHS teams to ensure seamless communication and alignment

  • Enforce contamination and FOD (Foreign Object Debris) control protocols

  • Lead emergency preparedness initiatives, drills, and documentation

  • Promote a safety-first culture grounded in awareness, accountability, and continuous improvement

What You’ll Bring

  • OSHA 30 certification required (OSHA 500 or 510 preferred)

  • 5+ years of safety management experience in construction—semiconductor or high-purity environments preferred

  • Deep knowledge of OSHA, NFPA, and cleanroom safety standards

  • Strong ability to design, implement, and uphold safety procedures in complex environments

  • Excellent communication, documentation, and leadership skills

  • Experience conducting investigations and managing safety reporting systems

  • CHST, CSP, or similar certifications are a plus

Who You Are

You’re steady, attentive, and deeply people-focused. You know safety isn’t paperwork—it’s personal. You bring structure and calm leadership to every site, protecting people while strengthening teams and systems around you.
